The Postdoctoral Program at IIASA offers fully funded research positions of up to two years to study topics related to the IIASA research agenda.

IIASA funded Postdoctoral fellowships

PLEASE NOTE: We regret to inform you that due to unanticipated circumstances IIASA will not be accepting applications to the IIASA postdoctoral program during the October round. Please keep checking our website for updates on a future call.

Applications are still being accepted to our international PKU-IIASA International Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and to the IIASA-CAPES Postdoctoral Fellowship – open to Brazilian nationals which will open on 1 September and run until 15 October.

Peter E. De Jánosi Postdoctoral Fellowship 

The Peter E. de Jánosi Fellowship was established by IIASA in honor of Dr. de Jánosi, who, as director of the institute from 1990 to 1996, guided its transition from a bridge between East and West during the Cold War to its current role as a center for objective, multinational, interdisciplinary analysis of global change. Funding is for up to two years and the fellowship is awarded for application of systems analysis to policy and management issues.
