2014

Activities in 2014 will focus on the publication of two Special Issues related to the international modeling comparison projects which are exploring the role of major economies for achieving rapid decarbonization.

In addition, the work within the IPCC AR5 will be completed and collaboration with other IIASA Programs on the SSPs will continue.

The focus of methodological and exploratory projects will be on the main factors affecting energy transformations, including the determinants of technology diffusion, together with the Transitions to New Technologies (TNT) Program, as well as on behavioral aspects affecting energy demand.
