He then carried out research in cooperation with the Ecological Modeling Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences about the theoretical approach of the evolutionary biology of early replicators. In 2001 he spent 3 months in the ADN project, within the framework of the Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP). He rejoined the project in September 2001 as a research assistant. His current research topic is the description of spatial ecological models with moment-based differential equation systems.
