Anne Maria Eikeset

Anne Maria (Mia) Eikeset graduated with an MSc degree in 2003 from the University of Oslo. Her master's thesis focused on vole demography in a landscape ecological experimental setting. She is currently a PhD student at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES), University of Oslo, Norway. Her research interests include fisheries-induced evolution, population dynamics, and the effects of climate on the large fish stocks of the Barents Sea.

Anne Maria Eikeset

Ms. Eikeset first came to IIASA in 2005 as a participant in the Young Scientists Summer Program and returned to the Evolution and Ecology Program in 2006. While at IIASA, she will continue her research on the economic impact of fisheries-induced evolution by incorporating economic feedback into an eco-genetic model developed for the Northeast artic cod.
