The 8th Trondheim Conference will focus on research and development regarding CO2 capture, transport and storage (CCS). The objective of the Conference is to bring forward, present and discuss work undertaken within R&D institutions, universities and in industry.
The technical program of the previous conference (TCCS7 / June 2013) offered 10 keynote lectures, 138 oral presentations (in six parallel sessions) and almost 100 poster presentations. 360 delegates from 24 countries attended the conference.

ESM's deputy program leader Florian Kraxner will present his paper on "Modeling Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage - A Scenario Assessment for Indonesia" during the session on CCS whole system issues. The abstract can be viewed here.
The paper entitled "Carbon-negative biopower via direct conversion and co-firing: Systemic impacts of capture and storage of CO2 applied to Indonesia" will also be presented which ESM Scientists Ping Yowargana, Sylvain Leduc and Florian Kraxner are co-authors of. The abstract can be viewed here.
ESM Guest Researcher and Head of the working group on Resources and International Trade at Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change , Sabine Fuss, will give a keynote on "Betting on negative emissions".
