Second Plenary COMPLEX Meeting

This is a meeting which brings together representatives of all Work Packages (WP) and all partner institutions of the FP7-funded project COMPLEX (Knowledge Based Climate Mitigation Systems for a Low Carbon Economy) in which ASA/IIASA leads one WP. General questions related to the overall project goal are discussed, as well as synergies between WPs are explored. A number of break out sessions are planned at which the progress on milestones and deliverables is discussed in relevant groups. 

Another goal of this meeting is to have a joint meeting with the ADVANCE project (Advanced Model Development and Validation for Improved Analysis of Costs and Impacts of Mitigation Policies) which is another FP7-funded project under the sama call in which ENE/IIASA is involved. The aim here is to foster an exchange of expertise and provide mutual feedback, with thematic focus sessions, plenary briefings and a series of more informal breakouts.
