IIASA energy researchers, UK energy experts, and decision makers discussed the findings of the report and explore how these results can inform decisions on energy policy and investments in technologies for sustainable energy pathways, within the UK and beyond.
The Global Energy Assessment, the first fully integrated assessment of the global energy system, analyses the elements and opportunities for meeting many of the global challenges related to energy. It also offers a suite of pathways towards possible solutions that can meet needs for global energy access within the constraints of climate and environmental targets.
