The main objective of the Fellowship Program is to prepare young scientists to contribute their knowledge and expertise in their future interactions with México City policymakers, while enabling government departments to interact better with the scientific community.

The training course will be held from 2 - 4 October in México City and will bring together experts working at the science-policy interface.

Dr. Jan Marco Müller was invited to participate in the inaugural panel on the "Science-Policy Interface and its importance for the development of a nation". He will also deliver a presentation on evidence-based policy making, and discuss how to strengthen the use of scientific evidence in Mexican policies.
