Responding to some general questions related to the data available on this
site, a document including
additional explanations
has been prepared and updated recently to take into account the latest
modifications in the database structure. It is recommended to read this
document to avoid missinterpretation of some of the data provided in the
country data files. It is available in 'pdf' format. [13 Kb]

To make reading datafiles easier, please load 'pdf' files that contain lists
explaining
sector
and
control technique
abbreviations used. These are also included in the background mthodology paper.

All
country-specific data files
are in Microsoft Excel 5.0/7.0 format. For your convenience these files are
compressed with WinZip 6.2, so the transfer time is reduced.

Currently provided information for transport sources is not country specific.
