RAINS Web Edition
On-line Model
A version of RAINS Web Edition providing some
Scenario Analysis functions is available.
You can examine the environmental consequences of several IIASA optimised
scenarios or construct and analyse your own emissions scenario (a number
of initial scenarios are provided).
You may save your own emissions scenarios - by choosing a new name for
each one you create - but they may not be stored indefinitely.
Such scenarios will be available for further use for 7 days - and
possibly longer - but may be removed from the scenario database after that time.
The following types of output are available:
Tables of Exposure Indices
- Population Ozone Exposure Indices
- Vegetation Ozone Exposure Indices
- Ecosystems with acid deposition above acidification critical loads
- Ecosystems with nitrogen deposition above eutrophication critical loads
Maps
- AOT40 5-year mean
- AOT60 Individual years, 5-year mean or second highest of series
- Ecosystems with acid deposition above acidification critical loads
- Ecosystems with nitrogen deposition above eutrophication critical loads
Differences between Scenarios
- The differences between your "current" scenario
and a second scenario of your choice can also be shown.
Difference tables and maps are available for the types
of output data listed above.
N.B. Please report any problems encountered.
