Günther Fischer and David Wiberg participated in a workshop co-organized by IIASA on 5-6 March 2013 on "Changing Land Use and Environmental Implications under the Emerging Economic and Climatic Scenarios in India" hosted at Gujarat Institute of Development Research (GIDR), Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The workshop reviewed available knowledge, strategies, approaches, measures and processes that may enable vulnerable communities to cope with and adapt to the impending impacts of climate change in ways which are effective and responsive to the specific environmental and resources context but also widely applicable, replicable and robust.
