Flood in Pakistan

Global change is producing transformations at global and regional level that many, especially developing, societies are not fully equipped to deal with.

RPV researchers analyze environmental and socioeconomic risks such as landslides, drought, floods, and other challenges, across multiple spatial and temporal scales.

Our aim is to provide a sound analytical foundation for enhanced management and governance of risks and, through this, to advance robust options to enable policymakers to deal with the persistent problems associated with risks and their implications for human and environmental well-being.
