IIASA, Laxenburg, Austria
The aim of IICSAMA 2016 is to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars to discuss and share their newest results in the fields of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and their applications. This conference is co-organized by IIASA in cooperation with the Department of Information Systems, Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland; Laboratory of Theoretical and Applied Computer Science LITA, Lorraine University, France; Analysis, Design and Development of ICT systems Laboratory, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary and IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Computational Collective Intelligence.
After the peer review process, twenty papers by authors from twenty different countries have been selected for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in the prestigious series Studies in Computational Intelligence of Springer-Verlag.
This conference is organized by Vietnamese computer scientists and applied mathematicians many of whom research at both universities in Europe and in Vietnam (see conference program committee). In 2013 Vietnam joined IIASA with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology as the National Member Organization for Vietnam. Since then collaborations have taken place or are about to take place in areas ranging from air pollution to climate resilient agriculture to demographic research methods (see IIASA Activities with Vietnam for more information).
