EU Air Policy Review

As an input for the negotiations on the revision of the EU Thematic Strategy on Air Pollution, IIASA has prepared a further set of reports that analyze the cost-effective scope for further air quality improvements in Europe.

At the 4th Stakeholder Expert Group meeting in Brussels (December 5, 2012), IIASA presented background reports which examine the health and environmental impacts of the baseline emission scenario, explore the potential for additional emission reductions in specific sectors, and present a series of optimisation calculations to illustrate the analysis of the cost-effectiveness of further control measures.
