This inter- and transdisciplinary event has developed over the past two decades to become the most important national networking platform for Austrian climate scientists and policy makers. It features select scientific oral and poster sessions, practical workshops, and several social events for networking. IIASA researchers are involved in several roles, as organizers, session chairs, speakers, and representing projects financed through the Austrian Climate Research Program (ACRP).

Goal of the Austrian Climate day is to create an overview of current Austrian research activities regarding climate change, impact, adaptation, and prevention.

IIASA's contribution to the scientific program:

ACRP projects

Jenan Irshaid, Stefan Hochrainer-Stigler, and Thomas Schinko, will present progress in their ACRP funded projects.
