Mats Bodin

Mats Bodin came to IIASA in May 2008 and is working in the Evolution and Ecology Program as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar as part of the European Research Training Network on Fisheries-induced Adaptive Changes in Exploited Stocks (FishACE).

Dr. Bodin studied mathematics at the University of Umea, Sweden, where he received his master's degree in 1999 and his doctorate in 2006. At IIASA he is using adaptive dynamics techniques to study the evolutionary consequences of harvesting on maturation size and other inheritable traits in fish..
