ENE scientists in UNIDO/GEF workshops
As part of the larger UNIDO/GEF project, IIASA scientists produced several analytical reports (on energy pathways for sustainable development, energy access for development and policies for energy access), as well as two interactive, web-based policy analysis tools (the Energy Multi-Criteria interactive tool and the Energy Access interactive tool).
The purpose of the workshops is to facilitate the presentation of these summary documents and tools in three regional settings – Asia, Africa and Latin America – jointly with UNIDO. These three workshops are designed for policy makers, policy analysts, and scientists engaged in activities related to the promotion of energy access, climate change mitigation, air pollution reduction, and energy security improvement.
