Austrian Panel on Climate Change stakeholder meeting

On Tuesday 16 July, IIASA Deputy Director Nebojsa Nakicenovic takes part in the 2nd Stakeholder meeting of the Austrian Panel on Climate Change (APCC).

IIASA is one of four project leaders, and coordinates the review process for the APCC, which runs very similarly to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The meeting in Vienna brings together report authors and stakeholders from commercial and industrial sectors as well as local and regional governments. The APCC report, expected to be released in early 2014, addresses climate change and focuses on the potential impacts and possible mitigation and adaptation strategies in Austria. During the meeting, participants will discuss the 2nd order draft report.
