Rudolf Neubauer joined the Ecosystems Services and Management Program (ESM) in September 2017, as a research scholar to work on commodity market forecasting models, currently focusing on data mining, background research and support project management.
Mr. Neubauer graduated in business informatics with a specialization in economics from the Technical University of Vienna, and completed a post graduate program at Institute of Advanced Studies.
During his years working in an international bank, he was Head of strategic asset allocation and quantitative research, leader of an executive department, mentor of the trainee program and responsible for professional development in the investment banking division. He has also worked in Exposure Management and Risk Controlling. In the course of coordinating several projects, he was able to contribute solutions to forecast models, portfolio optimization, research platform and monitoring tools. Bringing in his analytical and management skills, he was able to close the gap between the technical and business department. Furthermore, he has also worked as a project manager and consultant.
