Hacking For Hunger - Hackathon Continues

Data Cleanup Geo-Wiki Crowd-Sourced Data in Ethiopia: Stopping Land Grabbing and Improving Food Security

The latest hackathon was really successful thanks to many participants. So much so, that the Geo-Wiki Team will be attending the World Food Summit in Iowa on 16th of October 2012 to present this work.

So far around 20.000 validation points were collected. But in order to make a really great map of Ethiopia, further help is needed to collect more validation points.

As with previous competitions, this work will be written up as a scientific paper and include the top three contributors as authors.

The new deadline is set to the 6th of October 2012
