ASA researchers participated in the 24th International Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance

The 24th International Conference Computing in Economics and Finance took place in Milan, Italy on 19-21 June 2018 and was organized by the Society for Computational Economics.

Elena Rovenskaya gave a talk on "Green bonds and financial markets: Transition to a low-carbon economy in an extended DICE model", Michael Miess gave a talk on "When does a disaster become a systemic event? Estimating indirect economic losses from natural disasters", Sebastian Poledna gave a talk on "Economic forecasting with an agent-based model" and Willi Semmler gave a talk on "An Extended Integrated Assessment Model for Mitigation & Adaptation Policies on Climate Change - A Multi-Phase Approach". Elena Rovenskaya and Willi Semmler also chaired the sessions on  Economics of Climate Change II and Evaluation of Unconventional Monetary Policy respectively.
