Lecture on GLOBIOM Model

Yuri Ermoliev, Tatiana Ermolieva, Aline Mosnier, Petr Havlik and Michael Obersteiner gave a lecture “Dynamic recursive procedure for downscaling SSP-based land cover changes from GLOBIOM model” at IIASA on 14th August 2013.

The lecture discussed a dynamic recursive cross-entropy based probabilistic downscaling model which facilitates the GLOBIOM (Global Biosphere Management Model) model to project future land cover changes to finer resolutions consistently with aggregate land demand projections generated by GLOBIOM, local-scale biophysical processes and availability of natural resources.
