IIASA is engaging with stakeholders in the Indus Basin to understand their perspectives on water, energy, and land nexus challenges and opportunities for cross-sectoral and transboundary cooperation in the Indus Basin. The stakeholder engagement for India will take place in New Delhi, on March 23th at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi and is co-organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). The stakeholder engagement for Pakistan will take place in Lahore on March 26th and is being co-organised by Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Each country meeting will bring together approximately 40 participants representing different government organizations, academia, NGOs, and donors working on water, energy and land sectors. Both events are part of the stakeholder engagement process that is being developed within the Integrated Solutions for Water, Energy, and Land (ISWEL) project in the Indus Basin.
