Launch Meeting for Water Futures and Solutions: World Water Scenarios Initiative
On 4-5 February, a kick-off meeting for the Water Futures and Solutions: World Water Scenarios Initiative will take place at IIASA in Laxenburg, Austria. More information on the event will be available soon.
The initiative is a partnership between IIASA, UNESCO, the Korean government, the World Water Council and the International Water Association. It aims to provide a scientific basis for responding to worldwide water challenges by creating and testing a number of scenarios for future water resources, and bringing together decision makers to discuss a common vision for the future.
