IPCC News

Read the latest news on IIASA's involvement with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), including new reports and events.

The report is a comprehensive assessment of the current state of climate science, split up into three working groups that focus on the physical science of climate change (Working Group I), impacts adaptation, and vulnerability (Working Group II), and mitigation (Working Group III).

IIASA research feeding into the IPCC reports primarily focuses on the impacts and risks of climate change, as well as mitigation and adaptation. IIASA researchers  are major contributors to Working Groups II and III of the IPCC's 5th Assessment Report, to be released in March 2014.
