YSSP 2013 Program

On June 3rd, IIASA researchers and staff welcomed 51 young scientists from 20 countries to the 2013 Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP).

The YSSP brings advanced PhD students to Laxenburg, Austria, to work on independent research projects in collaboration with top researchers in their fields. Program participants this year are conducting research projects in fields ranging from ecosystems and land use, to climate change and risk management.

Introductory Workshop Presentations

On June 7th, 51 YSSPers made presentations introducing their planned research during the three month program.  The rapid fire talks also included an overview from IIASA program leaders and staff on each program.
