Shops/Supermarkets
Depending on the supermarket chain, opening hours can vary, but in general they are open:
Monday-Friday from 8:00 to 19:00 Saturdays until 18:00.
Please note at least two stores of the supermarket chain "Billa" are open 365 days from 6am - 9pm www.billa.at - Locations: Trainstation Praterstern & Franz Josefs Bahnhof (Julius Tandler Platz)
Department Stores and Shops
Monday-Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00
All other shops/supermarkets are usually closed on Sundays. Restaurants/Snack bars are open.
Pharmacies ("Apotheken") operate on a rotating system for night and Sunday duty. When closed, a notice will be displayed to inform you of the nearest pharmacy that is open. Information on Medical Emergency Service (“Arztenotdienst”): call 141.
