Careers at IIASA
IIASA is independent and completely unconstrained by political or national self-interest. It is sponsored by its National Member Organizations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. For this reason, preference is given to applicants who are nationals of IIASA member countries.
Currently the Institute employs approximately 110 scientific staff and 100 support staff on an ongoing basis. Support roles at the Institute include management professionals and specialists, secretaries and administrative staff as well as more general positions in our technical, domestic, and catering services. IIASA has no laboratory facilities and is not equipped for performing scientific fieldwork.
