IIASA governance and evaluation

IIASA is governed by a Council that is made up of one representative of each of IIASA’s member countries. Along with various external advisory bodies, the Council also regularly evaluates IIASA’s work. Charts show the structure of these external bodies and IIASA’s internal organization

Professor Dr. Pavel Kabat, Director General and Chief Executive Officer

Pavel Kabat became the tenth Director of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in February 2012. As Director General Professor Kabat is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, responsible for the formulation, management, and administration of all research programs and other activities at IIASA.
