R20 Regions of Climate Action is a partnership that brings together subnational governments, businesses, academic institutions, and non-profits, as well as international organizations and the United Nations, to take action to address climate change. At the meeting in Vienna, from 31 January to 1 February, Nakicenovic will join policy leaders such as European Commission President Barroso, UNIDO Director General Kandeh Yumkella, and Former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who founded the R20 group.
