Low-Carbon Prosperity: WBGU International Symposium

The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel, will give the opening address at the WBGU International Symposium ‘Towards Low-Carbon Prosperity: National Strategies and International Partnerships’, 9 May.

WBGU Council member and IIASA Deputy Director Nebojsa Nakicenovic will introduce a panel discussion on Global Energy Revolution. Participants include Ministers and senior ministerial advisors from many of IIASA’s NMO nations including China, Germany, India, Japan, Sweden, and the USA.
