IIASA Directors meet with President of the Austrian Academy

IIASA Director Pavel Kabat and Deputy Director Nebojsa Nakicenovic, met on 21 February with the President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), Helmet Denk, and ÖAW representatives, IIASA Council Member for Austria Prof. Gerhard Glatzel and immediate past Council Member, Prof. Kurt Komarek.

Discussions were held on how to a) most effectively build on existing research collaborations between IIASA and the Academy and b) to develop strategies that will enhance both information exchange across the Austrian research sector and the flow of research findings to Austrian decision makers.
