As of January 2017, IIASA is legally obligated to share the following information with the Ministry of Finance: donor's name, date of birth and the donation amount. Failure to comply with this new regulation would make it impossible for Austrian donors to deduct donations to IIASA from their annual tax return statement. Therefore, please give us your date of birth next time you make a donation to IIASA!
