Raoul Kneucker is a Professor honoris causa at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Innsbruck. He was the director general of Directorate VI - Scientific Research and International Science Affairs, at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture (BMBWK).
Roger Levien was Director of IIASA from 1975-1981. Currently he is principal and founder of Strategy & Innovation Consulting.
Thomas Nowotny is professor for political science - international relations at the University of Vienna. He is also the President of the Vienna Chapter of the Society for International Development (SID).
Director of IIASA
Pavel Kabat is the current Director of IIASA and remains Professor of Earth System Science at Wageningen University, and Director and Chair of the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences' Institute for Integrated Research on Wadden Sea Region.
Honorary Trustee
Howard Raiffa was the first Director of IIASA from 1972-1975. Currently he is Frank Plumpton Ramsey Professor of Managerial Economics Emeritus at the Harvard Kennedy School.
