Schwarzenegger advisers visit IIASA

On Wednesday, 30 January, BMR Consulting CEO Bonnie Reiss and 7th Generation Advisors President Terry Tamminen will visit IIASA to learn about the Institute’s research in energy and climate change.

Reiss and Tamminen serve as advisers to Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, founder of the non-profit organization R20 Regions of Climate Action. They will be in Vienna this week to participate in the Vienna R20 Conference, a meeting of subnational and international organizations who are working together to address global climate change and energy challenges.

At IIASA, Reiss and Tamminen will meet with IIASA Director & CEO Prof. Dr. Pavel Kabat, IIASA Deputy Director Nebojsa Nakicenovic, as well as research program leaders Keywan Riahi (Energy) and Michael Obersteiner (Ecosystems Services and Management). Researcher Zbigniew Klimont will represent IIASA's Mitigation of Air Pollution and Greenhouse Gases program.
