Retreat of the UN EU Heads of Mission
As part of the meeting, IIASA Director and CEO Prof. Dr. Pavel Kabat and IIASA Deputy Director Nebojsa Nakicenovic will speak to the group about IIASA's work addressing global challenges. For example, IIASA has been a major contributor of policy-relevant science, including climate research that underlies the IPCC reports, air pollution analyses that have fed into international treaties, and the Global Energy Assessment, which forms the basis of the UN's Sustainable Energy for All Initiative.
