Kerner von Marilaun Lectures: Diversity and Change

Diversity and changing environmental conditions influence life, and life itself influences these conditions. In this discussion, experts in ecology, biodiversity, and global change will discuss the challenges that the planet faces

IIASA researcher Ulf Dieckmann and IIASA Council Chair Peter Lemke, will join other leading researchers for lectures followed by a discussion related to the challenges faced by our planet and its ecosystems under environmental change, as well as the influence of diversity, change, and evolution on climate. The event will emphasize the importance of systems perspectives in understanding global change and its impacts.

The event will take place in German. More details are available on the Austrian Academy of Sciences Web site.
