Laxenburg Energy and Climate Day 2014

The community of Laxenburg, IIASA, and local climate agencies come together for the second year to bring climate awareness to our community.

This year's program focused on how individual food choices can have an impact on our carbon footprint. The event included activities for children, displays from local students on honeybees and fair trade chocolate, a climate quiz, and a chance to measure your own ecological footprint. The event took place in German.

Presentations by IIASA researchers and experts from local environment and climate agencies focused primarily around the impact of food and drink on our environment and climate.
