05 June 2014
IIASA, Laxenburg
This year's program focused on how individual food choices can have an impact on our carbon footprint. The event included activities for children, displays from local students on honeybees and fair trade chocolate, a climate quiz, and a chance to measure your own ecological footprint. The event took place in German.
Presentations by IIASA researchers and experts from local environment and climate agencies focused primarily around the impact of food and drink on our environment and climate. You can read more about IIASA's research on the impact of food in our recent Options Magazine article, The Footprint of Food.
