Cynthia Rosenzweig

is a Research Scientist at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, where she is the leader of the Climate Impacts Group.

She is also an Adjunct Senior Research Scientist at the Columbia University Earth Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Barnard College. A recipient of a 2001 Guggenheim Fellowship, Dr. Rosenzweig is currently the Co-Chair on the New York City Panel on Climate Change. She was a Coordinating Lead Author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group II Fourth Assessment Report and has worked on numerous international assessments of climate change impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability. She has collaborated with IIASA since the 1990s and worked in IIASA’s Land Use Change Program in 1997.
