Helen Tunnicliffe joined IIASA in February 2018 as the press officer and science writer in the Communications group of the External Relations, Communications, and Library Department. She is responsible for writing press releases about new research, conferences, policies and people news, manages IIASAâs social media presence and jointly oversees the Nexus blog, as well as writing content for Options magazine.
Previously, Helen had more than nine years of experience as a science and engineering journalist, most recently at The Chemical Engineer, the membersâ magazine of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), a global body based in the UK. She has an NCTJ journalism qualification and a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool, UK.
