Joanna Stefanska joined the Risk Policy and Vulnerability (RPV) Program in 2012. She received her master's degree in psychology from the University of Warsaw where she specialized in environmental psychology, completing part of her research at the University of Maastricht. She also completed a master's program in leisure studies at the University of Tilburg and a third, international master's program POLIS European Urban Cultures.
Ms. Stefanska specializes in cross-disciplinary projects that require development of new data collection methods including knowledge elicitation and social survey methods. She has worked with a range of specialists from different countries and disciplines, including ecologists, sociologists, anthropologists, physicists, mathematicians, urban planners and architects.
She is in the final phase of writing her PhD in environmental psychology at the University of Warsaw.
Her current research interests revolve around application of games and combining them with other data collection instruments in forest conservation projects.
