Chin-Min Lee

Chin-Min Lee joined IIASA as Special Advisor to the Director in 2000. He had been a senior official of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Port Moresby, Manila, New York, Geneva, and Vienna. Before joining the Institute, he was the WHO Special Representative to the United Nations and other International Organizations and Director of WHO, Vienna.

He studied international relations and English at the Hankook University of Foreign Studies and organizational management at the Konkook University School of Public Administration, Seoul. He further studied management development at the Asia Institute of Management, Manila, and international studies at the New York University.

He is also a columnist, and his interests include classical music and fine arts.
