RAINS databases - NMVOC

The data presented here include country-specific tables with parameters used in the RAINS NMVOC calculations (including country-specific elements). This data is not yet displayed in the RainsWeb implementation but serves background calculations to derive emission factors and unit control costs for "VOC-only (excluding mobile exhaust sources)" sectors. The explanations of abbreviations used in the data files and displays of the RainsWeb model can be downloaded here (pdf file).

These data sets were developed by IIASA, further discussed and improved in the process of consultation with national experts within the CAFE program. Documents presented here do not provide information about activity projections, emission factors, removal efficiencies, etc. used in RAINS. In order to view/download these data for the available scenarios, please refer to the RainsWeb on-line model.
