The workshop will discuss the plan for future work on the intercomparison of atmospheric long-range transport models for Asia.

Discussions will clarify remaining issue from Phase 2 of MICS-Asia and explore approaches that analyze the linkages of air pollution across different spatial scales. Presentations will address simulation of air pollution at the global, hemispheric, regional and urban scales, and how these scales can be connected.

The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia EANET).
