Abstract

This book focuses on economic and social impacts of computer integrated manufacturing. The first two-thirds of this volume are primarily economic and quantitative in orientation. The final third is essentially social and qualitative in orientation. The book comprises a series of chapters by different authors from around the world and addresses the economic and social consequences of CIM from a variety of perspectives. The results of several models are reported.
