Born in Norway in 1943, moved to Sweden in 1950
Married, three children and seven grandchildren.

  • Docent, Public Oral Health 1984, Based on research publications in material toxicology and in public oral health in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sudan, and in Sweden.

Current position: Since 1999 Assistant Director General, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida/ Asdi, and Director, Sida Department for Research Cooperation, SAREC
