Short biography: Mr. Bo Ekman is Founder and Chairman of the Tällberg Foundation and an associated advisor at Tällberg Advisors AB (formerly Nextwork, a company that Mr. Ekman founded in 1997). He was previously chairman and chief executive of the Sifo Management Group. Prior to Sifo, he was for many years member of the management board of Volvo. Bo Ekman founded the Tällberg Foundation in 1981. The Tällberg Foundation is an international non-profit organisation established in Sweden. Its purpose is to further the understanding of change patterns in the world by deepening and expanding knowledge and insights. The Foundation’s work is based on humanistic values and a holistic systems approach. Through its activities, the Foundation aims to help leaders grow as human beings and act with purpose when managing the challenges of global interdependence. The Foundation has organized yearly workshops since 1981 and the larger yearly Tällberg Forum since 2005, on the theme “How on earth can we live together?” with more than 450 participants from all over the world. He also advised the Secretary General Kofi Annan and the UN Executive
Office. He has undertaken major projects for the UNDP. In the early 1980’s,
he was the Chief Architect behind the Roundtable of European Industrialists.
