Short biography:

Dr. Percy Barnevik is presently a Board member of General Motors, Chairman of Global Beauty in Hong Kong and a member of several business Advisory Councils as well as an advisor to some governments.

He was previously Chairman and/or President of Swedish Sandvik, Skanska and Investor, Swedish-Swiss ABB and Swedish British AstraZeneca and a Board member of the American DuPont. 

He is an adviser and donor to the Indian Trust Hand in Hand with 8,000 people engaged.  The Trust has trained and supported 252,000 women into entrepreneurship and 85,000 enterprises have been started in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
