For Young Researchers
     In order to provide young researchers with training in the use of systems analysis and models to improve flood risk management, the final day of the conference was devoted to hands-on experience in formulating problems and developing models to address them. In addition, young researchers were asked to prepare comments to many of the papers presented throughout the conference.
      A limited number of grants to facilitate participation to young researchers from the EU and associated countries were available.
