The 1st Annual Conference of the International Society for Integrated Disaster Risk Management - IDRiM 2010 - was jointly convened by the Institute of Water Management, Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering (IWHW), at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, and the International Society for Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRiM), Kyoto University, in cooperation with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and the Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University (DPRI).

The conference took place at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria, from 1 to 4 September 2010.
